Access the calendar's settings by right-clicking anywhere on the calendar's main panel and select Calendar Preferences from the context menu, or from the main many select Tools -> Settings, then select the Calendar section in the Settings window.
The Calendar tab of the Settings window contains basic calendar settings that will be displayed on eM Calendar's interface:
You can define how your work week looks like; when it starts, when it ends and which days go in between.
This option can also be accessed through the drop-down menu in the calendar's toolbar. It allows you to choose how your day will be divided and laid out in the view.
The day is divided into single hours by default. But if you need to draw up a more detailed plan of your day, in which every minute matters, you can split the hours into slices of 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes. These divisions are important also when moving and resizing events by Drag&Drop because you can only define your events by time unit you have selected in the granularity drop-down menu.
This option allows you to set the "height" of your calendar's layout. The value specified in this field determines how many hours will be visible at once in the calendar's central panel.
So, if you set 24 hours in this field, you won't have to scroll at all in your calendar's central panel, and will leave with plenty of room for nocturnal activities, but majority of your events will be typically crowded in the middle section.
Here you can define the default layout of your calendar.
This checkbox offers the same functionality as the Only Workdays button in the calendar's toolbar. When checked, only workdays will be displayed in the eM Client's calendar.
Define the behavior of the balloons which pop up when you hover the mouse pointer over an event. These balloons contain the event's details and you can learn more about them in the Calendar Views section.
